Veterinary Imaging
The section is currently involved with the Chemometrics Analysis Center (CHANCE) at KU in a research application of images analysis and statistics in veterinary medical imaging. This project has one enrolled PhD student.
There is collaboration on body composition studies in Farmed Mink, Dogs and in cats using Dual x-ray absorptiometry. The section is a research partner in the EU 7th Framework funded project "Pro-eel", providing computer tomography, DEXA and ultrasound data to the consortium. Multiple small research activities are ongoing with colleagues in Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (IVH).
