Cardiology

The Cardiology group has several important areas of focus. We are strongly dedicated to improve the quality of life for our patients. We are particularly engaged in;

• Disease prevention (ie cardiac screening programs)
• Development and application of novel diagnostic modalities
• Implementation of evidence based treatment protocols

Our research focus is within cardiac disease pathophysiology, advanced cardiac diagnostics and treatment.

Our overall work areas therefore lies within;

• Diagnosis and treatment of companion animals with cardiac disease
• Teaching of Veterinary students
• Research
